Jill Biden Sits At Head Of Biden's Last Cabinet Meeting, Media And The Left Demand Acceptance

If President Biden Is Unfit To Lead Or Perform Presidential Duties, He Should Resign

At the end of last week, the White House finally held a cabinet meeting after 11 months. Joe Biden convened his cabinet for the first time since last October, speaking to them for two minutes.

He was joined by Jill Biden who spoke about women’s health research for four and a half minutes.

Biden explained of Jill’s appearance at the meeting: “First Ladies have attended these meetings in the past for specific reasons. This is the first time Jill has joined us, and it underscores the importance of the issue she's about to address…”

This isn’t to mention, Jill Biden not only led what was likely Biden’s last cabinet meeting of his Presidency - but then went on to host a party at the Rose Garden without him.

Attendees were given folders emblazoned not only with Joe Biden’s signature, but Jill’s as well (pictured above).

Historically, it isn’t unprecedented for First ladies to step in for Presidential duties, such as Edith Wilson taking a more prominent role after her husband Woodrow Wilson suffered a stroke in October 1919.

However, thinking that Biden’s first cabinet meeting in nearly a year being led by Jill as normal isn’t in line with reality.

Just like Kamala Harris, Jill Biden wasn’t nominated and received no votes - yet is sitting in such a high position of power.

When you see Biden forget where he was at and who he was introducing at a press conference featuring the United States and India’s government, Jill Biden’s sudden appearance won’t be as confusing.

However, none of that makes any of what’s happening acceptable. Before, we had just Kamala unfairly being installed for the Democratic nominee instead of being voted on in primaries.

Now, Jill Biden sits at the head of the table at what’s likely Biden’s last cabinet meeting before the election simply because she’s married to the man holding the most powerful office in the country.

Where did the Democrat party go so wrong? This election season they didn’t even give their own party the option of choosing nominees to vote on to become a preferred candidate in the 2024 Presidential election.

Furthermore, if we’re speaking of “firsts”, the Harris/Walz campaign is also the first in modern history to be heading into October and still have no “policy” or “stances” page on their website.

Harris voters don’t seem to prioritize a political platform nor understand the ramifications of voting for someone you don’t know the positions of.

Never fear, Politifact is here to set the record straight and tell you why none of this is out of the ordinary.

They point out “First ladies… have joined Cabinet meetings in the past” and “the binder seen in a viral photograph shows the first lady’s signature along with Biden’s is a keepsake typically given to attendees… and is not used by staff for official purposes”.

Biden has been vacationing heavily after dropping out of the race for re-election and allowing Kamala Harris to take the wheel.
